Welcome To This Physician Associate (Student)

What is a Physician Associate? – Physician associates (PAs) are healthcare professionals with a generalist medical education who work alongside doctors and surgeons providing medical care as an integral part of the multidisciplinary team. PAs work under the supervision of a doctor but can work autonomously with appropriate support.
I often describe us as similar to generalist FY1’s who are able to effectively communicate with nursing team

Revising

There is a large volume of information we have to know! Therefore I though I would put my advice in one handy spot for you all!
- Compile all information in one place (from pre-reading, lectures and additional reading).
- Summarise into 1 page for each condition on the matrix.
- Use this to work through and revise through.
- Anything you struggle with make que card.
- Go through mock question banks on these subjects.
