Nice to meet you
Hi, I’m Pauline. I’m a French lit, film photography and food nerd. I moved to Paris after graduating from Oxford, and have since then worked in media and communication.
It’s December 2025 and I realised this bio is in serious need of an update. Hi! I’m Pauline. I’m still a French lit, film photography and food nerd. After graduating from Oxford, and entering adulthood in Paris, I moved to sunny California three years ago.
Professionally, I’m a photographer and filmmaker living in San Francisco. With a background as a content strategist and producer from my previous life in Paris, I now apply my lens – working strictly with analogue mediums – to tell stories about slow living. From farm to table, earth to object, my interests lie in the colourful and poetic ways people craft a world in harmony with nature.
Personally, I’m a cook, baker, postcard writer, cinephile, dog mom, florist in my own home, stationary collector and chatty Cathy.
What is “Outgrown”?
to outgrow (verb): to grow bigger than or too big for something
After spending so much time working on many publications, I was longing for an editorial space of my own to share and discuss views and ideas. I wanted to address the various topics that engage me everyday, and that keep me growing into a new person each day. That’s why I started this personal newsletter which you will hopefully find engaging, relatable or simply enjoyable to read.
