Shelleng, being a rural community, faces various social problems that hinder its development and well-being. Some common issues  include:

Limited Access to Education: Shelleng lacks access to quality education due to inadequate schools, qualified teachers, and educational resources.

Healthcare Challenges: Shelleng have limited access to healthcare facilities, leading to poor health outcomes and higher mortality rates, especially for preventable diseases.

Unemployment and Poverty: Economic opportunities are often limited in rural areas, especially Shelleng, leading to high unemployment rates and poverty.

Gender Inequality: Shelleng perpetuates traditional gender roles, limiting women's access to education, employment, and decision-making processes.
Limited Infrastructure: Poor road networks, lack of electricity, and inadequate communication infrastructure impedes economic growth and access to essential services.
