Want to make your assignments look fabulous? Now is your chance to learn LaTeX! LaTeX is a typesetting and document preparation program which is widely used in Maths and Engineering, for example to write scientific papers, theses, or student assignments. It's known for its high typographical quality and ability to be tailored to suit any type of assignment. In fact, a variety of courses at UQ uses LaTeX, including ELEC3004, COMP3506, math courses, and more! This is an interactive workshop introducing students to LaTeX and helping students with any questions about the program. Organised by the UQ Mathematics Student Society and UQ Electrically Based Engineering Student Society, and presented by Alex Muirhead. All students at UQ are welcome. Date: Wednesday Week 4 (18 March) Time: 4:00PM Location: 69-110 (Building 69), UQ St Lucia Campus
