I’m Daniil Stepanov, a software engineer and 5th-year student at EPITECH Nice (BAC+5), currently on an exchange in Poland.
I’m deeply interested in low-level programming, operating systems, kernels, and embedded systems, but I also build real products end-to-end when needed.

I enjoy working close to the machine: understanding how things work under the hood, optimizing, breaking abstractions, and rebuilding them properly. That mindset naturally extends to backend systems, infrastructure, and security.

Alongside my studies, I work as a freelance developer with a small team, delivering web, software, and embedded solutions — from high-level APIs to bare-metal code.
