Educate & Empower.

To reduce the harmful effects of tobacco on Stanislaus County residents. Together we educate youth and adults on the health risks of tobacco, empower communities to take a stand for wellness, and promote tobacco-free spaces.

In order to reduce illegal sales of tobacco products, many cities and counties in California have passed tobacco retail license (TRL) ordinances.

In December 2022, SB793 was enacted which made it illegal to sell flavored tobacco products, including flavored cigarillos, menthol cigarettes, and flavored (sweet/cool/mint) vapes. Effective January 1, 2025 SB 793 & AB 935 strengthen CA flavored tobacco laws.
