  • Hey, don't forget that I wear glasses. Yes, I am nearsighted, it's just that in many photos I'm always not wearing glasses. Only sometimes where I wear glasses when taking photos of myself. What do you think? Is it better for me to take photos with glasses or not?

As of this post, I haven't checked the size of my myopia for more than two years. The last time I checked my myopia was in October 2023. These glasses of mine are almost three years old too now. Hmm, there is always no time to go to the eye hospital.

Look at the fish statue behind me in this photo, guess what fish statue it is? It's a fish that is quite well known among those who like marine biology, evolutionary biology, and paleontology. Try to guess my friends.

  • It is a tradition for me to watch the film "The Message" by Moustapha Akkad every Ramadan every year. Released in 1976, this film is one of the best epic and adventure films and also one of the best films about Islam. I love its beautiful cinematography and epic storytelling.

In Ramadan 1447 Hijri in the year 2026, I watched this film in Arabic version. The Arabic version is longer and more complete with a duration of 3 hours and 27 minutes (207 minutes) compared to the English version with a duration of 2 hours and 58 minutes (178 minutes).

If I may say, this film is one of the best films from 1970s and, a very influential and significant classic film. Just look at its unique production, it was remarkable yet so difficult to make, considering many its large-scale scenes and also filmed twice.

Very inspirative in many ways, it serves like a bridge for cultural understanding between the western world and the eastern world. A very influential and essential historical film.

  • My 11th visit to the North Sulawesi Provincial Library and Archives in 2025. I borrowed two books on my visit this time and this is my last visit to this library in 2025. Maybe I will visit again in 2026, I don't know, I was very disappointed with them, not like in the past.

Huh, make me the head librarian and I will make this library good again. Just imagine, there are absolutely no real librarians here who are graduates of library science, none. Just some stupid bureaucrats, no matter whether they are civil servants or contract employees.

Keep people who don't know the library away from the library management, they will only ruin the library. I feel sorry for the books in this library which have raised me, been a part of my life for so long. Yeah, I have been a member of this library since I was three years old in 2009.

Hmm, one of my dreams is to become either a librarian or an archivist. I want to study library science and archival science later. I will definitely be able to do it later.

  • There are still quite a lot of people who think that whatever an authority, such as the government, says is accepted as true. Argumentum ad verecundiam or appeal to authority. Thankfully I'm not like that, especially since I'm knowledgeable and well educated.

Sorry for those of you who are offended, it's the fact. Not everything that the authorities say must be accepted or obeyed at face value. It's surprising how many people can easily believe anything the government says. I mean, at least check the truth first, be critical.

Honestly, I'm often disliked because people say I like to argue with people who other people consider influential or powerful. When I was at school, I used to argue with my teachers a lot, of course, because most of them were not so smart enough to be my teachers.

I don't care of course, whatever. My mother is like that too, although in her case it happens a lot at her workplace. Many leaders are wrong, they must be told that they are wrong, they must be criticised.

  • In my life it is important for me to always maintain my good behaviour based on my moral compass. It did not always go as it should and in many cases in the past I have shown many not so good behaviour. I definitely feel bad about that because I should not be like that.

I certainly apologise for all of that if that is the case, if it is indeed unacceptable to others or those who are directly affected. Always remember that my default is kind not evil and it will always be that way, forever. In all my limitations, I always try to do kindness.

From that, of course, it must be understood that if something bad might come out of me it is not because I wanted it to be from the first place. I am as patient as I can be with people, as with my family. However, I have a limit to my patience indeed, you know it.

For example, if I say something bad like cursing someone, even though it does not refer explicitly to someone in particular, that means I am completely impatient with that person. My impatience would be even greater if I had never done anything wrong to that person.
Hell is other people, yes, but heaven is other people too. If I meet those hells then it is not entirely my negativeness and if I meet those heavens then it is not entirely my positiveness. Sometimes bad luck sometimes good luck, this life is so random and full of chaos.
Understand me as I understand you, through good and active communication. Time is always there and we are always connected. Never be shy or reluctant with me, you can talk about almost anything with me, including very taboo and controversial subjects.
