HOW TO PRIORITIZE LIKE A PRO SO YOU CAN CRUSH YOUR GOALS As a single mother of 3 & solopreneur, I had to learn to prioritize well or be crushed by the massive weight of responsibilities. Sometimes it felt like Sophie’s Choice, d*mned if I do, d*mned if I don’t. I mean how do you decide if you pay for the field trip or pay the water bill? You think I’m kidding? My water got shut off. You see me now on top of the world, but it took me a decade of feast or famine, sleepless nights, financial roller coasters, shattered dreams, blood, sweat, and f*cking tears to get here. I learned so many things the hard way, and prioritization was one of them. Over time, I mastered strategies for effective prioritization, and now it’s second nature to me. I rarely have to go through these steps, because it’s part of who I am. And I help my clients do the same thing. I teach them proven high performance strategies and over time the strategies become high performance habits that enable my clients to rise to the top of their industries and absolutely obliterate their goals. Here’s how you can do the same. To PRIORITIZE LIKE A PRO, you must: 🎯IDENTIFY YOUR UNIQUE ABILITIES: What activities energize & fulfill me? Where do I consistently excel? What tasks do others choose me for? 🎯DETERMINE WHAT MATTERS MOST: Does this align with my core values & long-term goals? Will this significantly impact my success or the success of my team? Is this task urgent or simply an interruption? 🎯SET CLEARLY OBJECTIVES :Define specific, measurable, achievable, relevant, & time-bound (SMART) goals. Break them down into manageable daily tasks. 🎯USE THE IMPACT/EFFORT MATRIX:  High Impact/Low Effort: Prioritize these first. High Impact/High Effort: Next, tackle these significant but demanding tasks. Low Impact/Low Effort: Handle these in spare time. Low Impact/High Effort: Delegate these 🎯ADOPT THE 80/20 PRINCIPLE: Focus on the 20% of tasks that produce 80% of your results. 🎯IMPLEMENT TIME BLOCKS: Allocate specific time blocks for your most important tasks, minimizing distractions to reach completion. 🎯DELEGATE: Delegate tasks outside your unique abilities or that others can handle. 🎯REVIEW & REFINE: Set aside time weekly to review your progress and adjust priorities. 🎯 SAY NO: Protect your time by evaluating new opportunities against your goals. Politely decline or negotiate if they don’t align. By focusing on what matters most & aligning your tasks with your unique strengths as well as your deepest values, effective prioritization will transform your life. Today is the day to start prioritizing effectively & embrace your journey toward unparalleled success! If not now, when? #business #success #highperformance

Saying no goes unnoticed until you win. Get used to it. 6 frameworks to win by saying no: There's a fine line between saying yes to what matters and no to what doesn't. When we started my agency, saying no seemed impossible, leading to overwhelming commitments, burnout, and chaos in my work and personal life. But a few years ago, I read "The Power of Regret" by Daniel Pink. The book not only taught me how to embrace the emotion of regret, but also inadvertently showed me how to assert myself by saying no. 6 key lessons that will help you master the art of saying no: 𝟭. 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗽𝗿𝗶𝗼𝗿𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗳𝗶𝗹𝘁𝗲𝗿 Make a crystal clear list of your top three priorities each day. When approached with an unexpected request, ask yourself if it directly contributes to your overarching goals. Don't hesitate to say no if it doesn't align with one of your priorities. 𝟮. 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗹𝗼𝗻𝗴-𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗺 𝘃𝗶𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗰𝗵𝗲𝗰𝗸 Spend time outlining your 5-year goals. Once you have a clear vision of where you want to be in five years, you can use it as a reference point when deciding whether to say yes or no to a request. Ask yourself if the request aligns with your long-term goals and if it will bring you closer to achieving them. If not, then once again, say no. 𝟯. 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗮𝗹𝗶𝘀𝗺 𝗴𝗮𝘂𝗴𝗲 Follow a simple yes or no approach to all your commitments. It's a great way to prioritize obligations that deeply resonate with you and avoid unnecessary distractions. If it's not a " Hell yeah!," it’s a “no”. 𝟰. 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗶𝗺𝗽𝗮𝗰𝘁-𝗲𝗳𝗳𝗼𝗿𝘁 𝗺𝗮𝘁𝗿𝗶𝘅 Not everything is worth doing. Develop a matrix for the effort and impact of potential commitments. Assess if the effort required aligns with the impact on your goals. If it falls in the high-effort, low-impact quadrant, decline. 𝟱. 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝟭𝟬/𝟭𝟬/𝟭𝟬 𝗿𝘂𝗹𝗲 Before you decide to take on a new request, remind yourself of this question: "What are the consequences of this action in ten minutes, ten months, and ten years?" The key is always to prioritize decisions with positive long-term consequences. 𝟲. 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗥𝗲𝗴𝗿𝗲𝘁 𝗠𝗶𝗻𝗶𝗺𝗶𝘇𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗙𝗿𝗮𝗺𝗲𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸 Daniel Pink put it perfectly: "Regret is valuable. It clarifies. It instructs. Done right, it needn't drag us down; it can lift us up." When given a choice, opt for something with the least regret potential. P.S. You're swamped, drowning in tasks, but not seeing the impact of the endless hours you spend on your business. The hard truth? Busyness doesn't equal impact. After spending the last 5 years working with leaders, I've sliced through the clutter of traditional task management. Ready to break free from the shackles of endless to-do lists and skyrocket your productivity? Let’s unravel the simple and impactful strategy to manage what truly moves the needle, not just what keeps you busy. 🗺Here is your Roadmap: First, Set Clear Priorities: Identify your top three priorities for each quarter—these are your Rocks. These are non-negotiable tasks that will drive your business forward. By focusing on these Rocks, you ensure that your efforts and your team stay aligned with your strategic goals. Next, Measure What Matters: Implement a simple data dashboard that tracks key performance indicators (KPIs). This will help you make informed decisions based on data, rather than based on how you are feeling in the moment. Then, Establish Rhythms: Create a meeting cadence that allows you to consistently check-in, track progress, and build momentum. Weekly meetings to review your Rocks and KPIs can help keep you accountable and on track. By following these steps, you'll transform your workday from a series of tasks to a structured approach that propels your business towards its goals. Ready to turn your hard work into smart work that pays off? Send me a message and we can implement this process together. #Productivity #LeadershipCoaching #FractionalCOO

Time Management Insights for Improving Productivity ⏰💡 I have been mentoring several people around the topic of time management. These are some pointers to help you master your time, boost productivity, and achieve more with less stress. 📈 1. Self-Assessment: Track and Analyze Your Time 📊 Track Your Time: For the next two weeks , keep a detailed log of how you spend each hour. There are tools like Toggl or RescueTime to help simplify this process.  I will put link to their sites in the comments. John Jensen also has a spreadsheet he utilizes that is a great framework for sales people. Categorize Activities: Once your log is complete, sort activities into categories such as planning, deal management, prospecting, admin tasks, internal and external meetings, and personal time.  Do you also understand what your high-impact activities are? Evaluate: Reflect on your log. Are you dedicating enough time to high-impact activities? Are personal activities getting the time they deserve? 2. Identify Areas for Improvement 🔍 High-Value vs. Low-Value Tasks: Pinpoint tasks that drive your goals forward. Delegate or eliminate low-value tasks. High-value tasks are often those that only you can do. Time Wasters: Identify activities that consume time without adding value, such as redundant meetings or excessive email checks. 3. Set Clear Priorities 🎯 Define Your Key Responsibilities: Clarify your role and responsibilities. Focus on activities that align with these and have the most significant impact. Goal Setting: Set clear, measurable goals. This will sharpen your focus and help you prioritize and delegate tasks effectively. 4. Improve Delegation 🤝 Identify Delegation Opportunities: Based on your time log and priorities, find tasks that can be handed off, freeing you to focus on high-level strategy. 5. Continuous Improvement 📈 Regular Check-Ins: Schedule regular check-ins to review your progress, discuss challenges, and adjust strategies as needed. This keeps you accountable and allows for timely adjustments. Personal Insights from My Experience 🌟 When I first started tracking my time, I was amazed at how much of it was spent on low-value tasks. By categorizing and analyzing my activities, I identified key areas for improvement and began delegating tasks that were consuming my time without significant returns. Setting clear priorities and goals was a game-changer, allowing me to focus on high-impact activities and achieve better results. Implementing these steps transformed my productivity, and I'm confident it can do the same for you! 🚀 #TimeManagement #Productivity

In the past, I've worked at a variety of organizations that encouraged and rewarded activity but didn't always prioritize impact as much as we should. Welp, we saw where that led in the era of growth at all costs... In the pursuit of success, it's crucial to recognize the difference between activity and impact. We often find ourselves engaged in countless tasks, but if they don't translate into meaningful outcomes, we risk burning out without tangible results to show for our efforts. As we navigate through the year of efficient growth, let's shift our perspective towards hyper-focused and laser-prioritized actions. It's not about doing more; it's about doing what matters most. Aligning our efforts with strategic goals and themes enables us to create not just blips but booms 💥 of impact. Remember, it's not the number of tasks we complete, but the quality and significance of those tasks that define our success. Let's cultivate a culture of purposeful productivity, where every action contributes to our overarching goals. Key Takeaways for Efficient Growth: 1️⃣ Hyper-Focus: Identify the core activities that directly align with your objectives. Concentrate your energy on these key areas to maximize impact. 2️⃣ Laser Prioritization: Prioritize tasks based on their potential impact. Not all tasks are created equal; focus on those that move the needle and contribute significantly to your goals. 3️⃣ Strategic Alignment: Ensure that every action is aligned with the broader strategy. This alignment creates a ripple effect, amplifying the impact of individual efforts. 4️⃣ Quality over Quantity: Shift the focus from the volume of tasks to the quality of outcomes. Meaningful contributions have a lasting impact and contribute to sustainable growth. I'll be a broken record this year reiterating the importance of alignment and prioritization so we can all create the impact we need to grow efficiently and be proud of our results. #growthmindset #impact #prioritization
