Here’s to the everyday heroes in our communities! This month, we’re shining a light on three local departments doing incredible work. 💡 Isle of Wight County Department of Social Services staff donated 300+ food items to a community partner to help address food insecurity in their area. Shenandoah Valley Social Services and partners came together for World Elder Abuse Awareness Day, empowering seniors with knowledge and resources. Mathews County Department of Social Services hosted the Senior Safety Fair, helping seniors stay safe and informed — with a visit from Attorney General of Virginia Jason Miyares!
