- As I mentioned in the last video, the simplest AI workflow automation reminds me of the robotic process automation trend, where software was emulating the work that people did to handle structured and linear sequences and processes, in short, bots that got work done. For a while, we called this digital labor. These bots weren't smart, but they were diligent and reliable. Then GenAI and large language models entered the picture, and excitement was high, so was adoption. We've all used ChatGPT, Claude, Grok, Perplexity, Midjourney, and any number of other tools to create images, write emails, generate code, and conduct research. They're amazing resources. They also have the power to finally make chatbots useful, but here's the thing, none of them do work. Think of it this way. An LLM can write an email for you, but it can't send it.
