Let's walk through an example of how privacy teams can face challenges before they can settle on a data classification. In our use case, the company runs online retail and provides consumers the ability to browse, compare, and buy products and ship them to their chosen addresses. Consumers can access these products via an app, on the website, per their preferences. In order to conduct business, the company needs, as you can imagine, data from consumers about the consumers.
