- [Instructor] In this particular AutoCAD tip and trick, we're going to take a look at drawing properties and how we can utilize those drawing properties and relate them to field data in our title block in our drawing. Talking of drawings, we have a new drawing for you to download from the library to follow along with this particular video. The drawing is called 383-dwgproperties.dwg. Download the file from the library as usual to follow along with this particular AutoCAD Tips and Tricks video. Now when you open up the drawing, it should be in the ISO A3 layout tab and you should have the title text layer as your current drafting layer. You can see it there in the layers panel. Zoom in on the lower right corner of the title block, making sure obviously the viewport is not active, otherwise you'll mess up the scale in the viewport.
