- [Instructor] Welcome to another tip and trick for AutoCAD. In this particular tip and trick, we're going to be checking out how we can join viewports together when we're working in our Model tab in an AutoCAD drawing. Now, to do that, we've got a drawing for you. It's called 417 Joining Viewports.dwg. So make sure you download that from the library to follow along with this tips and tricks video. When you do get the drawing downloaded and open, make sure you open it and that you are in the Model tab. That's where we're going to be working to join our viewports in the model space. Now, did you know that you can have multiple viewports in the Model tab? Well, you can. It's very easy. You go up to the View tab here in the ribbon and you'll notice you have a Model Viewport panel there like so. Now, older versions of AutoCAD do this slightly differently but I'm hoping you're running with a more recent version of AutoCAD.…
