“I recently booked Catarina as a speaker for a virtual conference with 300+ attendees, and I had an amazing experience with the Blindish Latina team before, during, and after the event! I had followed Catarina on LinkedIn and social media for a few years, and always found her content to be valuable, so I was really excited to have her on the conference agenda. When I first reached out about this opportunity, I found Catarina's website to be extremely accessible and informative about her offerings, so the process felt easy from the very beginning of our partnership. The conference was focused on driving diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives, and Catarina's presentation on "Unpacking Ableism in the Workplace" seemed to be a great fit, particularly since disability inclusion is not always at the forefront of DEIB conversations. Catarina and I then had a productive meeting to align on the content of her presentation, and brainstorm ways to make it feel customized to the experiences of the employees at my company. Her team was extremely communicative throughout the preparation stages prior to the event. During the event, I personally found Catarina's session to be engaging and informative, and many of the attendees expressed a desire to learn more about ableism in the workplace in the chat and also in conversations with me directly after the session. After the event, the attendees who completed the conference evaluation form provided excellent ratings for the following - 1) Catarina's knowledge of the subject matter 2) The pacing of the presentation 3) The organization and clarity of the presentation 4) Catarina's ability to engage participants Additionally, all of the attendees who completed the form would recommend Catarina's session to a colleague. I am so grateful to Catarina for sharing her expertise with my colleagues, and for providing actionable tips that we can implement to build a more inclusive workplace going forward. I'd be happy to partner with Catarina and her team again in the future!”
