Barriers and determinants of consistent offering of HPV vaccination by healthcare facilities
Human Vaccines & Immunotherapeutics
Co-authored study on HPV Vaccination practices in Texas, revealing critical insights into healthcare providers' inconsistencies in vaccine offerings. Our research uncovers key barriers, especially in solo practices, and emphasizes the importance of system-level interventions for improved HPV vaccine management.

Statins use and COVID-19 outcomes in hospitalized patients

There is an urgent need for novel therapeutic strategies for reversing COVID-19-related lung inflammation. Recent evidence has demonstrated that the cholesterol-lowering agents, statins, are associated with reduced mortality in patients with various respiratory infections. We sought to investigate the relationship between statin use and COVID-19 disease severity in hospitalized patients.

A Retrospective Analysis of the Impact of Bariatric Surgery on the Management of Chronic Migraine

Our study adds to the extant body of evidence that explores the relationship between weight and chronic migraines. Our study found a statistically significant association between bariatric surgery and chronic migraine remission.

The Ministry of Health (MoH) through the Ghana Health Service (GHS) requested National Immunization Technical Advisory Group (NITAG-Ghana) and partners to review the evidence and advise the Ministry on the policy direction the country should take with respect to the scaling up of the RTS,S/AS01 vaccination. NITAG-Ghana convened a residential meeting to consider the request and came out with technical recommendations.
