This release notes document lists the features and enhancements introduced to Sales Navigator users and admins from January to March 2025.

Sales Navigator user updates

Message Assist (early access)

In Sales Navigator, you can use Message Assist to draft unique, personalized messages to potential leads with AI assistance. Message Assist drafts first touch InMail messages by using account insights, lead data, and the unique selling points of a product or service. Top sellers consistently perform hours of research before messaging a new lead. Message Assist helps you adopt InMail best practices and connect with more decision makers with the right message in less time. Learn more.

Important to know

Message Assist is only available in English and with Advanced and Advanced Plus. Keep in mind that admins can turn off Message Assist for all users on their account. Learn more.

Admin product and service personalization settings

Product and service personalization in Sales Navigator allows you to more effectively research companies, find the right people to contact, and engage in meaningful conversations. Users and admins can add products and services to help make Account IQ insights and Message Assist message drafts more personalized to the products and services they offer. 

As an admin, you can add, edit, or remove shared products or services that anyone on your account can use. You can also either allow or restrict users from adding their own products or services. If your admin allows user-added products and services, you can add, edit, or remove your own products or services for personal use. These products and services aren’t visible to other sellers on your account. Learn more.

Product and service personalization is only available with Advanced and Advanced Plus. 

Account IQ in localized languages

Account IQ provides access to powerful account insights with a single click. Rather than searching the web for relevant company insights, Account IQ provides an easy access summary of key company information. Previously, Account IQ appeared in English regardless of the language preference set by the user. Account IQ will soon be available in localized languages, starting with French, Spanish and German. Sales Navigator Account Center is now LinkedIn Admin Center

Sales Navigator Account Center has been rebranded to LinkedIn Admin Center. Moving forward, all user and license management flows will take place in LinkedIn Admin Center. The functionality for managing users and licenses remains unchanged. Admins will continue to have access to the same features they’ve used in Account Center. With the improved interface, admins can:

  • Filter specific actions in the revamped Activity Log.
  • Manage multiple LinkedIn products with the new dashboard page. This is only available for admins of multiple products. Learn more.

Two-step verification will be required in April 2025

Two-step verification is an additional security process used to protect online accounts and sensitive information. LinkedIn requires that users of Sales Navigator Core, Advanced, and Advanced Plus, enable two-step verification on their individual LinkedIn accounts.

Prior to this release, two-step verification was optional for Sales Navigator users. Starting in April 2025, it will be required that users turn on two-step verification to access Sales Navigator across desktop and mobile. Learn more.

Sales Navigator partner updates

Alerts in Sales Navigator for partners

Alerts and notifications provide updates on your saved leads and accounts, so you can take action and send well-timed, relevant, and personalized messages to your buyers. To receive alerts, you must save your leads and accounts. Alerts are available for all Sales Navigator subscription plans on your Sales Navigator homepage. For Sales Navigator Advanced Plus users, alerts are now also built directly into Embedded Experiences, ensuring you are notified about timely updates like job changes and promotions, recent company funding, and LinkedIn posts.
