Search for leads and accounts in Sales Navigator

Sales Navigator offers a robust search feature that helps you find leads and accounts using various filters. The collapsible two-paneled search view, intuitive grouping of filters, and live updating of results enhance the search experience, making it faster to find relevant leads and accounts.

To search for leads or accounts in Sales Navigator:

  1. Sign in to Sales Navigator.

  2. On the Sales Navigator homepage, click Lead filters or Account filters, or enter specific leads or accounts into the search bar box and press Enter

  3. Select additional filter suggestions that are provided under some of the filters to help you refine your lead and account search results. The suggestions are limited to the following filters:

    • Lead search filter suggestions - Current company, Geography, Seniority level, and Function.
    • Account search filter suggestions - Headquarters location, Industry, and Company headcount. As you add filters, the search results on the right side of the page are refreshed with results that match the filters.

  4. Click the Include or Exclude options to refine the results for that specific filter.

  5. Click the  Pin icon to maintain your specific search criteria for future searches. Unpin filters as needed to revert to the default selections.

  6. Click Save beside the lead or account you want to retain in your custom list. You’ll receive weekly updates as new leads or accounts match the selected criteria.

  7. Optional: Click Share search in the lower-right corner of the page to share your search results with your colleagues for collaboration.
