Troubleshoot Workplace verification via Recruiter license

Last updated: 11 months ago

You can verify your workplace through an active LinkedIn Recruiter license that has been provided by the company that you list in your current work experience. Here are some tips that may be helpful if you run into issues adding the workplace verification to your profile using a Recruiter license.

Reasons why you may not be able to verify your workplace with a LinkedIn Recruiter license

  • Your company does not provide LinkedIn Recruiter licenses to their employees.

  • Your LinkedIn Recruiter license is not associated with a corporate subscription contract. (Recruiter Lite licenses are currently not eligible for Verified recruiter verifications at this time).

  • Under your LinkedIn Recruiter product, you have not been assigned a Recruiter User role, Recruiter Admin role, or a custom role featuring a Hiring Project Creator license with Recruiter Search permissions.

  • Your current listed work experience is not associated with the company you're trying to verify.

  • You have not connected your LinkedIn Recruiter license to your LinkedIn profile.

Workplace/ Company changes

If you add a workplace verification to your profile using a Recruiter license, and then switch jobs, you may encounter the following conditions.

  • The workplace verification from your previous company is still visible on your profile. You can still access all of your current and past verifications in your settings.

  • You may be able to add a new Verified recruiter verification to your profile if your new company has granted you a LinkedIn Recruiter license.

  • Your Verified recruiter label will no longer be active if your new company has not granted you a LinkedIn Recruiter license.
