When you create an ad campaign in Campaign Manager, you can create an Accelerate or Classic campaign depending on your advertising needs.
Accelerate campaigns
Accelerate is LinkedIn’s AI-powered campaign type. Accelerate campaigns aim to improve your return on ad spend by continuously finding the right combination of targeting, creative, bidding, and placement for your campaign.
You can quickly create an Accelerate campaign by providing information about your brand, product, or service. Accelerate generates your suggested campaign using AI, and you can then review, adjust, and launch it.
You might choose to create an Accelerate campaign if:
- You’d like to be guided through creating a campaign by our AI marketing assistant, which provides recommendations to help you customize your campaign.
- You’d like your target audience to dynamically adjust to reach professionals that are most likely to convert.
- You’d like to use A/B testing to see how Accelerate campaigns perform compared with Classic campaigns.
- Your campaign objective is brand awareness, website visits, engagement, video views, lead generation, or website conversions.
- You’d like to use single image, video, or document ad formats.
Classic campaigns
If you have advanced advertising needs, you can create a Classic campaign to view all campaign objectives, ad formats, and settings available.
You might choose to create a Classic campaign if:
- You’d like to explore other ad formats, such as conversation ads.
- You’d like the flexibility of building your own audience or choosing an Auto-Targeting audience to have an audience built for you.
- You’d like to explore other types of objectives, such as job applicants.
- You’d like to use A/B testing to compare your campaigns’ performance with different ad formats or ad content, audiences, or placements.
