I love the energy in the office right now, but I have to play the holiday buzzkill for a moment. Cybercriminals know you are distracted at this time of the year. And so, they are launching specific "Grinch" scams—like fake bonus notifications—to exploit your holiday excitement. Give this short article a read to make sure you spot the fakes. I have noticed that many recent breaches are starting with third-party vendors instead of direct attacks. And so, I wrote down a few thoughts on why we need to stop looking at vendors as just contracts and start viewing them as part of our people security strategy. #Cybersecurity #SupplyChainSecurity #CISO #PeopleSecurity #TPRM Threatcop

Attackers don’t take holidays. This week, we focus on the risks most organizations ignore during year-end slowdowns: • Where holiday vigilance fails first • Why cloud misconfigurations keep turning into board-level incidents • Why People Security—not technology sprawl—decides breach outcomes #Cybersecurity #CISO #InfoSec #HumanRisk #CloudSecurity #NewYear #2026 Threatcop

The cloud threat landscape is becoming increasingly complex. Internal misconfigurations, stolen credentials, and unauthorized shadow IT are no longer just "IT issues" but primary gateways for expensive data breaches that demand urgent executive attention. If you are an executive or security leader planning your 2026 roadmap, check out the full feature in Express Computer featuring insights from our CEO, Pavan Kushwaha. Bad grammar used to save us. But AI fixed that. 🤖 The days of spotting phishing emails by their awkward typos are over. Cybercriminals are now using LLMs to create grammatically perfect, native-level emails that mimic your executives' exact tone. In our latest issue, we dive into: Why Business Email Compromise (BEC) is skyrocketing. How to solve for domain spoofing with DMARC policies. And the "Dual Strategy" of technical defense + employee empowerment. #AI #EmailSecurity #Cybersecurity #InfoSec

I’m really happy to share that one of my articles has been featured in the People Security Review 2025 by Threatcop. In the piece, I’ve written about something I genuinely believe the industry is finally waking up to the need to “certify the human layer.” For years, we’ve focused heavily on technical certifications, tools, and frameworks, but the human side of security has always been treated as secondary. My article talks about why that mindset has to change and how culture, behaviour, and everyday decision-making are becoming just as important as firewalls and policies. It was great to put these thoughts together, and honestly, I’m grateful that it found a place in a magazine that features insights from some very well-known leaders in cybersecurity. It’s motivating to see my work alongside theirs. Appreciate everyone who has supported me on this journey.
