A lot of brands worry about whether their cold outreach will be seen as spam, but Adam Goldfarb's definition of "spam" couldn't be clearer. "If it's just part of a campaign that's just sent out en masse," the founder of Transcendence Audio told us, "then that categorically is spam." Because for Adam, spam isn't about whether someone opted in. It's about relevance and specificity. "If you're sending an email and the result is that email is a nuisance to the recipient, that to me should be viewed as spam." So the way he sees it, most cold email IS spam — not because it's cold but simply because of how it's done. And when everyone's in a race to send more emails, very few of them are making sure the quality is good enough to justify sending them in the first place. Hear more about Adam's approach to cold email on the latest Outfoxed podcast. #ColdEmail #EmailMarketing #SpamVsOutreach

Relevance is the most misunderstood concept in cold email, but one that will make all the difference in outbound success in 2026. It’s not about personalization tokens. It’s not about clever phrasing. And it’s definitely not about sending more messages. After analyzing 11 million emails, one thing is clear: replies come from alignment, role, timing, and problem, not polish. When relevance is right, emails feel obvious instead of intrusive. This guide breaks down how to build that alignment deliberately. Read it here → https://lnkd.in/gzN2GsMB #Hunter #ColdEmail #OutboundStrategy #SalesOps #B2BGrowth

Most cold emails aren’t offensive or annoying. They’re just incredibly easy to ignore. When someone opens a cold email, they’re instantly always asking two questions: “Why me?” and “Why now?” If your message doesn’t answer those quickly, it doesn’t matter how polished it is. It isn't getting read. Reply rates aren’t driven by tricks, hacks, or perfect formatting. They’re driven by clarity. The best cold emails feel obvious once you read them. The reader understands why you reached out, what problem you’re speaking to, and why it’s relevant right now. That’s not magic. It’s just fundamentals done well. Adam Goldfarb has philosophical objections to using AI when creating content. Why? Since 2022, when ChatGPT became widely available, he's watched people lose their creative voice. "When I'm reading posts on LinkedIn," the founder of Transcendence Audio told us, "I just found that people were losing their creative voice by relying on AI to draft things for them." And these days, he believes it's more important than ever for the recipient to know that they're talking to a human: "I try to draft my emails so that the audience will think there's no way that this person used any type of assistance to generate this message." In a world rushing to automate everything, Adam is betting on authentic human writing. And as we near 2026, I think we could all stand for our cold emails to be more like Adam's, don't you think? For those who care about the quality of data in their CRM, they rarely describe verification as a “technical feature.” They talk about clarity. That's because when email data is clean, metrics start making sense. Reply rates feel real, and campaign decisions actually feel intentional. Verification doesn’t magically improve the copy, but it does remove the noise that hides what’s working and what isn’t. And once that noise is gone, it becomes easier to hear what your leads are telling you about your email sequences. See how email verification supports better GTM decisions down in the comments below! #CustomerInsights #EmailVerification #OutboundOps #Hunter

Your prospects aren’t tired of emails. They’re just sick of the bad ones. Inbox fatigue isn’t caused by volume, it’s caused by a huge wave of sameness. AI made it easier than ever to send more, faster… but is that really what you want? for your ideas to feel like noise? The teams that win use AI differently: They automate the busywork, and never the message. They use it to analyze timing, to refine tone, and personalize at scale. If you use it right, AI doesn’t flood inboxes, it opens them. Read the guide to using AI for cold emails in the comments! #Hunter #AIOutreach #ColdEmail #SalesStrategy

Most people delete bad cold emails without a second thought. Adam Goldfarb, founder of Transcendence Audio, does the opposite. Despite his inbox filling up with irrelevant pitches, Adam investigates each failed cold email to understand where the sender went wrong. The pattern he sees most often is a complete lack of relevance: • Getting the prospect's industry wrong • Misidentifying their role or company type • Offering solutions to problems that don't exist So what does Adam do to avoid this? He spends 80% of his time researching and only 20% actually writing. The result: a 20% positive response rate in a highly specialized market. "It's not efficient," he told us, "but it's effective." Hear more of Adam's thoughts on irrelevant cold outreach on the latest Outfoxed podcast. #Outreach #B2BSales #EmailMarketing

Do you want to know what the fastest way to ruin a cold email is? It's when you sound like everyone else. AI made it too easy to write, but harder to connect. Most bad outreach fails for the same exact same reasons: wrong details, robotic tone, and “let’s hop on a quick call” clichés. The best senders do it differently. They lead with proof, they change up their rhythm, and write like they actually care about who’s reading. Good cold emails don’t sound perfect, they sound human. That’s what earns replies.
