We’ve rebranded! As of January 1, 2026, GunsBook is now GunsMeet. The platform remains the same, built and operated by the same team, with the same accounts and strong EU privacy standards. gunsbook.com remains active and now redirects to gunsmeet.com. Alongside the new name, we shipped major web + mobile updates focused on discoverability and usability: a dedicated Discovery section for exploring public posts across people, groups, and pages, a direct Marketplace shortcut in the mobile bottom menu, improved photo quality controls, Czech language improvements, and one-click translation to help users connect across languages. 🇨🇿 ⬇️ || 🇬🇧 Gunsbook has officially surpassed 5,000 users. In just six months, we’ve built a network that connects legal firearm owners, sport shooters, hunters, collectors, and freedom-minded individuals who want to share without censorship or algorithmic suppression. What we’re most proud of: – The community is respectful, active, and self-regulating. – Users engage across feeds, groups, pages, and the marketplace. – Most of the growth is organic – through personal recommendations. We're also releasing a new version of our mobile app (Android + iOS) next week, addressing the most common bugs and improving performance. Founded in the Czech Republic, Gunsbook started as a response to increasing restrictions on free expression in traditional social networks. Today, it's becoming more than just an alternative – it's a living, growing community with real impact. Thank you to everyone helping us build it. ---------- 🇨🇿 Gunsbook překročil hranici 5 000 uživatelů. Za půl roku jsme vybudovali síť, která propojuje legální držitele zbraní, sportovní střelce, myslivce, sběratele a všechny, kdo chtějí svobodně sdílet obsah bez cenzury a algoritmického potlačování. Co nás těší nejvíc? – Komunita funguje kultivovaně, bez konfliktů, vulgarit a spamu. – Uživatelé jsou aktivní nejen ve feedu, ale také ve skupinách, stránkách a na marketplace. – Většina růstu je organická – přirozeně díky doporučení od samotných členů. Zároveň připravujeme aktualizaci mobilní aplikace (Android + iOS), která opravuje nejčastější chyby a zlepšuje uživatelský zážitek. Gunsbook vznikl v Česku jako reakce na omezení svobody projevu v tradičních sociálních sítích. Dnes už ale není jen alternativou – začíná být komunitní platformou, která má reálný dopad.
