👷 In 2025, with #BreakTheCode, we chose to raise awareness of algorithmic biases and stereotypes that hinder young women's access to technical and scientific professions. In 2026, we are moving from awareness to action. Since February 11, we have been continuing this campaign with the message 'Our future, not without her' to give visibility to women who are contributing to the energy, digital, and industrial transitions. It is in this spirit that Equans has formed an annual partnership with a non-profit organization to raise awareness among young people as they prepare for and plan their professional futures. This is a concrete and tangible action at a pivotal moment in their lives. In 2026, the stagnation and even decreasing number of women in technical and scientific fields is a concerning reality. In Europe, the proportion of women in engineering professions is between 16 and 20%, depending on the sector of activity. Globally, women represent just one third of the scientific workforce. We know also that social media algorithms are amplifying the phenomenon. 📲 At Equans, we want our actions to accelerate the energy, digital and industrial transitions. We need both female and male talent. These challenges are not gender-specific. Recognising this reality, we firmly believe that gender diversity is a powerful driver of performance and innovation. Within the Groupe Bouygues, we’re taking action today to shape a more inclusive future! 👷 This week, leaders from across the Group gathered in London for Global Inclusive Leadership for Tomorrow. It was a day dedicated to exploring how inclusive leadership can strengthen cohesion, safety, and operational performance. Through keynotes, workshops and discussions, we reflected on the behaviours and practices that foster stronger, more inclusive teams. The message was clear: inclusion is about more than values. It also fosters collaboration, enhances performance and promotes long-term success. 🎤 We were particularly inspired by Dr Dixon-Fyle’s keynote speech on values-led growth through inclusion and by the collective work on the leadership behaviours needed to navigate the future of our industries. ⚡️ Electricity is a key topic in the energy transition, with discussions centring around nuclear power, renewable energy sources and networks. 🔋 This is essential. However, if we are to decarbonise without weakening our industry, we must also address a much less visible issue: industrial heat. 🔥 Heating buildings, industry and agriculture accounts for nearly half of final energy consumption, and more than half of this heat is used in industrial processes. Overall, industrial heat alone consumes almost as much energy as all forms of transport combined. Globally, it also accounts for 18–20% of greenhouse gas emissions. This is precisely why 'secondary heat' must become a central issue, not only for the climate, but also for competitiveness and sovereignty. Despite popular belief, solutions already exist if we take a pragmatic, application-by-application approach, such as improving efficiency and recovering waste heat, electrifying where appropriate (particularly for needs below 120°C) and improving heat and cold storage to balance consumption. 🤖 Robotics and AI startups: this challenge is for you! Equans is launching its international Robotics & AI Challenge in partnership with VivaTech 2026. We believe in smarter, more autonomous and purposeful robotics to support the energy, industrial and digital transitions. This year, Equans has chosen to focus the challenge on Robotics & AI. We are looking for robotic solutions that integrate Generative AI and Agentic AI and that can: - Accelerate the development of robotic solutions for our clients - Enable robots to adapt more autonomously to complex and varied environments - Increase the productivity of our own teams (maintenance, prefabrication, industrial operations, etc.) - Deliver more agile robotics capable of interacting intelligently with their surroundings Solutions can be hardware-, software-, or hardware and software-based. Through this challenge, we aim to identify breakthrough technologies that will help us to design, deploy and scale robotics solutions more quickly, while making them more intelligent and adaptive in real-world environments. Three startups will be selected. They will pitch at the Groupe Bouygues stand at VivaTech (17–20 June 2026). [Financial Results] 🚀 Groupe Bouygues Full-Year 2025 Results – Equans Outlook Equans is rolling out its strategic plan, with solid financial performance in 2025. 📈 Sales reached €18.7 billion, reflecting our continued portfolio selectivity and the proactive exit from residual non-strategic and non-performing activities. 💰 Margin from activities reached 4.4% (+0.8 pts vs. 2024), demonstrating the continued successful execution of the Perform plan. Going further has never been a solo journey. 👷 The energy, digital and industrial transitions move faster when women are fully involved alongside their male colleagues. At Equans, this is not just a projection. Women are already shaping projects, leading teams and working in the field alongside their colleagues across our businesses. We are committed to creating the conditions that enable women to develop their careers, whether that involves moving into leadership roles or transitioning into technical professions. In the United Kingdom, the Women in Leadership programme provides female managers with an eight-month certified development pathway since 2022. In 2024, among the 87 participants, 20% were promoted within a year. In France, the Electra programme enables women from a variety of professional backgrounds to train for technical roles, such as building electrician, via a 12-month work-study programme. 40 women have been trained since the programme launched.
