A student-led organization at Baruch College that fosters intercultural communication through language partners.

About us

Founded in 2013, Conversation Partners Program aims to help non-native students gain confidence in their English-speaking abilities and acclimate to American culture. Native English speakers are matched with non-native English speakers for informal, one-on-one conversations. By practicing English outside of the classroom environment, non-native students will find that this is the quickest way to improve their command of English. Moreover, non-native students will be able to participate more actively in the classroom. At the same time, both native and non-native speakers will expand their cultural knowledge, make friends, and build a network of professional contacts.
