Story
Hi everyone,
I’m taking part in the “Flat Out” Hybrid Fitness Race with my friend Sam to raise funds for the King’s Hospital Children’s and young Adults Transplant Games Team, who I will be competing with once again in the British Transplant Games 2026.
Sam and I were both born with OTC deficiency, a genetic metabolic disorder that means we cannot process protein. I was given a second chance at life through organ transplant. I received my transplant in 2017, and since then I’ve faced a number of medical challenges along the way. Over the past year, I’ve worked hard to rebuild my strength and fitness, and being able to take part in this race is something I’m incredibly proud of.
The Transplant Games are about celebrating life after transplant, raising awareness of organ donation, and supporting transplant patients to stay active and healthy. Any donations, big or small, will go directly toward supporting our team as we prepare for the 2026 Games.
Thank you so much for your support.
