Important Disclaimers
- U.S. Focus: Our products and services are designed for and primarily marketed to users located in the United States. While we may collect information from users who access our services from outside the U.S., we do not intentionally target or market our services to individuals outside the United States. If you use our services from outside the U.S., you do so voluntarily and understand that your information may be processed and stored in the United States.
- EU/EEA (GDPR): We do not intentionally market or offer our services to individuals in the European Union or European Economic Area. If you access our services from these regions, you acknowledge that your information may be processed in the United States. If you believe we have processed your personal data in a manner subject to the GDPR, please contact us.
- California Residents (CCPA/CPRA): Based on our current operations, we do not believe we meet the applicability thresholds of the California Consumer Privacy Act or California Privacy Rights Act. However, we respect privacy rights and will respond to verified requests regarding personal information as required by applicable law. Please contact us with any questions.
- International Data Transfers: While our services focus on U.S. businesses, if you access them from outside the U.S., your data may be transferred to and stored on servers within the United States. By using our services, you consent to such transfers.
Children's Privacy
- You must be at least 18 years old to use our services. We do not knowingly collect personal information from individuals under 18. If you are under 18, please do not use our services or submit any personal information.
- If we become aware that we have inadvertently collected personal information from a child under 18, we will delete it as soon as reasonably possible.
What This Privacy Policy Covers
- This policy covers how Event Intelligence collects, uses, discloses, and protects personal information in connection with the Event Intelligence service, websites, and related features (collectively, the "Service").
- This policy applies to information we collect from: (a) subscribers and authorized users who create or use an account ("Subscribers"), and (b) people who interact with subscriber-published pages, portals, forms, contracts, invoices, payment links, or other Service features ("Clients" or "End Users").
- "Personal information" is information that identifies, relates to, describes, is reasonably capable of being associated with, or could reasonably be linked (directly or indirectly) with a particular person or household, such as name, address, email address, phone number, or similar identifiers.
- This policy does not apply to the practices of companies that Event Intelligence does not own or control, or to people that Event Intelligence does not employ or manage.
Information Collection and Use
- Event Intelligence collects information when you create or manage an account, when you use the Service, when you visit our pages, and when you communicate with us (including for support).
- Account and Profile Information: When you register we may ask for information such as your name, company name, email address, address, zip code, state, country, phone, and similar account details. Once you register with Event Intelligence and sign in to our services, you are not anonymous to us.
- Billing and Subscription Information: We collect information about your subscription plan, billing status, invoices, and transactions. Payments are processed by third-party payment processors. We do not store full payment card numbers on our servers.
- Customer Data (Subscriber-Directed Content): The Service allows Subscribers and their Authorized Users to submit to, store in, transmit through, or generate using the Service information such as contact records, event details, forms, proposals, contracts, invoices, messages, documents, notes, and other content ("Customer Data"). Customer Data may include personal information about Clients and End Users, as determined and controlled by the Subscriber.
- Communications Content: If you use the Service to send emails, texts/SMS, or other communications, we process the recipient information and message content as part of providing the Service. Subscribers are responsible for ensuring their communications comply with applicable laws (including consent and opt-out requirements).
- Usage and Device Information: Event IntelligenceAligned with the Services, Event Intelligence automatically receives and records information on our server logs from your browser or device, including your IP address, cookie information, device identifiers, the pages you request, and usage data (such as features used and actions taken).
- Support and Diagnostics: We may collect information you provide to support, and we may use logs and diagnostic data to troubleshoot, secure, and improve the Service.
- Third-Party Services and Integrations: We may use third-party service providers to support our operations (for example: hosting, analytics, email delivery, SMS providers, payment processors, and customer support tools). These providers process information only on our behalf and in accordance with contractual confidentiality obligations.
- Event Intelligence uses information for the following general purposes: to provide and operate the Service, fulfill your requests, process payments and renewals, improve our services, contact you, provide support, conduct research and analytics, maintain security, prevent fraud and abuse, comply with law, and provide aggregated or anonymized reporting.
- Event Intelligence may employ the use of 3rd party ad tracking systems in connection with promoting Event Intelligence and related products or services on 3rd party sites. This does not include sharing personally identifiable information with advertisers for their independent use.
Data Export; Data Retention; Deletion
- Data Export: During an active subscription term, Subscribers may export or retrieve Customer Data using the Service features we provide, subject to any plan limits and reasonable technical constraints.
- Retention During Service: We retain personal information and Customer Data for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the Service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, maintain security, and prevent fraud and abuse.
- Deletion After Termination: Upon cancellation or termination, it is the Subscriber's responsibility to export or retrieve Customer Data before account access ends. We are not obligated to retain Customer Data after termination and may delete Customer Data in accordance with our retention practices and applicable law.
- Limited Records Retained: We may retain limited records as necessary for legal compliance, dispute resolution, billing, fraud prevention, security, and enforcement, including maintaining suppression or "do not contact" lists where applicable.
- We may delete or anonymize personal information upon request if not legally required or operationally necessary to retain it. Please contact us if you have specific questions about data retention or deletion.
Information Sharing and Disclosure
- Event Intelligence does not rent or sell personal information for money. We do not share personal information with other people or nonaffiliated companies except to provide the Service you have requested, when we have your permission, or under the following circumstances:

- Service Providers: We provide information to trusted partners and vendors who work on behalf of or with Event Intelligence under confidentiality agreements to help us operate, support, secure, and improve the Service (for example: hosting, analytics, support tools, email/SMS delivery, and payment processors). These companies may use information only as necessary to provide services to us and do not have an independent right to share it.
- Subscriber Instructions: We disclose Customer Data and personal information as directed by Subscribers and their Authorized Users through their use of the Service (for example: sending emails/texts, publishing portals/forms, generating contracts/invoices, or enabling integrations).
- Legal and Safety: We respond to subpoenas, court orders, or legal process, or to establish or exercise our legal rights or defend against legal claims.
- Fraud and Abuse Prevention: We believe it is necessary to share information to investigate, prevent, or take action regarding illegal activities, suspected fraud, chargebacks, security incidents, situations involving potential threats to the physical safety of any person, violations of our Terms of Service, or as otherwise required by law.
- Business Transfers: We transfer information about you if Event Intelligence is acquired by or merged with another company or in connection with a reorganization, sale, or transfer of assets. In this event, Event Intelligence will notify you before information about you is transferred and becomes subject to a different privacy policy.
- Subscriber Listing: Event Intelligence may publicly list companies that are subscribers to our service in the form of company name and location. At our sole discretion, we may also from time to time list the subscriber website URL to show as an example to prospective or current subscribers. If you would like to opt out of being identified as a customer, please contact us.
- Event Intelligence reserves the right to collect and share billing and shipping addresses and related transaction information for fraudulent or disputed credit card transactions for fraud prevention purposes and to work with payment processors and financial institutions.
- Event Intelligence reserves the right to compile and share aggregated or anonymized information (for example: system usage statistics, reporting totals, top lists, or availability checks). This does not include personally identifiable information.
Cookies
- Event Intelligence may set and access Event Intelligence cookies on your computer or device to help operate the Service (for example: keeping you signed in, remembering settings, and improving performance).
- Event Intelligence may allow certain third-party services (for example: analytics providers or advertising partners, where used) to set and access their cookies or similar technologies. Other companies' use of their cookies is subject to their own privacy policies, not this one.
- Event Intelligence may use web beacons or similar technologies in connection with Event Intelligence products and services.
- Our site does not currently respond to "Do Not Track" (DNT) signals. You can manage cookie preferences in your browser settings.
Your Ability to Edit and Delete Your Account Information and Preferences
- You can edit your Event Intelligence Account Information, including certain marketing preferences, at any time through the account settings available in the Service.
- New categories of marketing communications may be added from time to time. Users can opt out of receiving future marketing communications from these new categories by following instructions contained in the messages they receive.
- We reserve the right to send you certain communications relating to the Service, such as service announcements, administrative messages, security notices, billing notices, and product updates, that are considered part of your account, without offering you the opportunity to opt-out of receiving them.
- If you need to request access to, deletion of, or correction of personal information that is not accessible through your account, please contact us. We may ask you to verify your identity before taking action.
- We will respond to verified requests within a reasonable timeframe, subject to legal and operational requirements.
Messaging and Compliance (Email and Text)
- The Service may allow Subscribers to send emails, SMS/text messages, and other communications to Clients and End Users. Subscribers are solely responsible for ensuring that all communications sent (or caused to be sent) using the Service comply with applicable laws and industry rules, including consent, content, identification, opt-out, and recordkeeping requirements.
- Subscribers represent and warrant that they have all required permissions, consents, and legal bases to contact recipients, including for automated or scheduled communications, and that they will honor opt-out requests promptly.
- We may provide tools to help manage opt-outs and preferences, but we do not guarantee legal compliance for any specific Subscriber use case. Subscribers, not Event Intelligence, are the "sender" or "initiator" of Subscriber communications for compliance purposes.
Confidentiality and Security
- We limit access to personal information and Customer Data to employees and service providers who reasonably need access to provide the Service, support you, maintain security, or perform their job functions.
- We maintain physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards designed to protect personal information and Customer Data.
- Your Event Intelligence account is password-protected. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and for using commercially reasonable efforts to prevent unauthorized access.
- Event Intelligence does not send account passwords via email. Passwords are stored in encrypted or hashed form, and account access is managed through secure authentication and password reset mechanisms.
- In certain areas Event Intelligence uses industry-standard SSL/TLS encryption to protect data transmissions.
- Obtaining Event Intelligence subscriber information by electronic or other means is strictly prohibited. Unauthorized usage of private information, including email, phone, address, or other contact information is strictly prohibited and violators may be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.
- While we take reasonable measures to protect information, no security system is impenetrable, and we cannot guarantee the absolute security of your information. You acknowledge that the Service is provided "as is" and "as available" and that security risks are inherent in internet-based services.
Changes to this Privacy Policy
- Event Intelligence may update this policy from time to time. We may notify you about significant changes in the way we treat personal information by sending a notice to the primary email address specified in your account, by posting a notice within the Service, or by placing a prominent notice on our site.
