see the vision. feel the care.
Our mission is to make access to vision care possible for the underserved population in the United States through advocacy, education, outreach, and connection.
-
WHY WE EXIST
Vision care is often overlooked, particularly in underserved communities. Our Mobile Eye Health Unit improves vision care accessibility by overcoming common barriers such as trust, transportation, and geography. Our vision is to bridge the gap in eye health awareness and create connection to vision care for individuals in need.
-
WHAT WE OFFER
Our Mobile Eye Health Unit travels to partner events and communities to provide vision care and eye health awareness. We offer education sessions and materials on topics of eye health, which can be accessed on our website and social media channels.
-
HOW WE DELIVER
We meet people where they are and safely connect them to vision care. Our Mobile Eye Health Unit is staffed by volunteer optometrists and technicians who perform vision screenings and eye examinations. We travel to specific locations based on partners in the community and where our programs will best serve those in need.

Serving Our Community
Mobile Eye Health
Our ECN Purpose Mobile Eye Health van allows us to meet people where they are and safely connect underserved individuals to vision care. We travel to specific locations coordinated with our partners in the community, and where our programs will best serve individuals.
Eye Health Education
ECN Purpose believes in the importance of preventative care and eye health education, especially in a time that digital devices are so prominent. We offer educational resources, such as educational videos, social media channel postings, and free downloadable and printable information on our website.
