Artist Statement
“I love capturing the natural world around me and bringing my sense of a place to life on the canvas. I am naturally drawn to compositions with pathways and reflecting on the journey. I enjoy exploring the many nuances of color and texture, while striving to evoke a mood and tell a story through my paintings. I’m especially drawn to landscapes, but also love to paint and draw the figure. I feel very connected to the coastal areas of Downeast Maine and southeastern Massachusetts.”

Meet the Artist
Denise Brack lives in Kingston, Massachusetts with her husband Ken. She has loved drawing for as long as she can remember and now in her early 60’s, pursues becoming the artist she always dreamed of. Her heart has been tugging at her in this direction for decades.
