Bestselling author J.L. Drake announces the signing of a two-book deal with Montlake for her new romantic suspense series,
beginning with Breathe Me In, releasing June 30, 2026.
Breathe Me In will be a part of Kindle Unlimited and released in audio format, with narrator details to be announced at a later date.

Right now, I’m already deep in the first round of edits for Book Two, which means the story is growing in ways even I didn’t see coming. It’s still too early to promise a release date for the next installment, but trust me—this series is only getting started.
But before anyone panics…
No, I haven’t forgotten about Stonewall.
I’m actively working on the final installment of the Stonewall series, and while I’m not ready to share everything just yet, let’s just say the hamster wheel in my brain has been spinning with a few other story ideas too.
So no… we’re not slowing down anytime soon.
