I bought this for an elderly relative in the midwest who is always cold., especially in the winter. She said she didn't want it, but after a few weeks in the box, she opened it and wrapped herself up. Her review: "Oh, boy! This is delicious!" She said that it's remarkably soft, lightweight, but nice and warm. She liked the blue/cream color combination, and now says that it's her favorite throw. I bought it because it looks nice, is washable, and the reviews said it was both soft and warm. If she's happy, I'm happy.
