On our website, and when I use the app dashboard at https://app.cookieyes.com/customize too, there is no “Accept” button. When I go to Cookie Banner ->> Content, I can see that I can change the text of the button to something else, but no matter what, it does not appear. All other buttons, such as the Reject button, are working as expected. This is happening on both the website and at https://app.cookieyes.com/customize, so I don’t think it’s a website issue. We are using the GDPR consent template.

Edit: Interestingly, I see the same issue with a missing accept button on the cookieyes.com website.

    Hi @nathan24,

We checked and the Accept button on the cookieyes.com website is appearing correctly on our end. To help us look into why it’s missing on your site, could you please share the following details through the link here?

    1. Your website URL – so we can check the banner directly.
    2. Your site health data – please go to Tools → Site Health → Info tab, click Copy site info to clipboard, and then share it with us.

Once we have these details, we’ll investigate further and get back to you with the next steps.

I’ll send the details through the support form, but I’m attaching screenshots of the cookieyes website and of the app dashboard — both showing no accept button. These were taken with Chrome and Firefox, respectively.

    Hi @nathan24,

Thank you for sharing the screenshots and additional details.

We’ve identified that this issue may occur when a banner configuration from an older setup (legacy version) is carried over where the “Accept” button was turned off. In the current version of the plugin, this option has been removed to avoid compliance risks, but if your earlier settings had the button disabled, it might still appear as inactive after the update.

Additionally, please note that the banner displayed on the cookieyes.com website is the US State Laws template, which functions as an opt-out banner. So it does not include an “Accept” button by design.

We’ve resolved the issue on your website. Please check and let us know if everything looks good or if you need any further assistance.

Thank you for your patience and cooperation!

We haven’t heard back from you in a while, so I’m going to mark this as resolved – if you have any further questions, you can start a new thread.
