WAGON takes place during the harsh winter of 1845, where you play as a wagon leader guiding a group of people to Oregon City. However, the air is getting colder, and resources are all but completely spent. In a moment of desperation, you plead to a Ouija board for answers, and a strange girl appears with a way to survive, if you are willing to participate in her twisted idea of a game.
The gameplay revolves around combining cards to build something or achieve certain actions. You will refer to a list of recipes written in the text of the Book of Rites. You slowly realize you're unwittingly participating in something of the occult and supernatural. There is a moderate learning curve to overcome at the start as you familiarize yourself with how the mechanics work.
