Playing with some new stencils.

This is a just for fun project. I wanted to test these new stencils that I got on E-bay, actually I went crazy, I got a whole bunch of them all in the Parisian theme, my fav. So I started with these hand me down boxes that I love. Since the top surface is not completely flat, I had a bit of a hard time keeping the stencil straight. Leave it to me to start with a complicated project.  

 

I experimented by adding a little shadowing, it's ok but I need way more practice. It's not as easy as it seam on Pinterest.

STUFFED FABRIC PUMPKINS.

 

These are my new fall decoration additions for this year. I made them out of re-cycled corduroy long sleeve shirts I found while thrifting  last year.   I original was planning on using the shirts to make fabric flowers. I do have some fabric left over and maybe I'll have time to get to those flowers after all.

After you get them nice and stuffed,  you get to decorate them and that was the fun part. I did a You Tube video HERE.  

 

 

 

Bling me up. please.

 

Sometimes the smallest little touches make a big difference. This was an old mirror, the frame was a simple dard wood. All I did was shabby it up a bit with my fav off white paint color. But I think what make is prettier is the earrings I used to bling it up a bit. I'm not finished with it, this is just the frame. I can't wait to get started on the inside part.

Bandana banners for China and Beth. .

This post is for my sister, she wanted to see them before I mailed them to her. I had this bag full of bandanas, I think our friend Beth gave them to me. I was looking through Pinterest and got the idea to use the bandanas and make banners out of them. I even got to use the little pieces of scraps, I made a long one with just the little left over pieces and that turned out to be my favorite.

I'm sure that Beth and my sisters can use them to decorate their retail spaces. Can't wait till she gets them, they look so pretty.
