About

I am Umm Afraz Muhammed, an Indian settled in the Emirates, a mother of 3, an author, an avid bookworm, a Redefined Muslimah Coach, a creative at heart, and a passionate Graphic Designer.

Back in 2009, I had been wanting to learn graphic designing ever since I came across Easel and Ink. I was so fascinated by it. Quite a few talented sisters came to help me despite their busy schedules then Alhamdulillah, yet, I wasn’t able to quite grasp it. Qadr Allah. And though I did create a couple of images, it wasn’t through my own learning as much as it was through imitation.

Few years later, a wonderful teacher with a kind soul, Sr. Sanjida Shaheed – Founder of Global Gratitude Movement, Design for Deen, and Tutor Muslimah – conducted a free course on Image Quote 101. And thereafter, my passion and quest for graphic designing grew.

Now I consider myself an ongoing student, gaining knowledge from various sources. From online courses to YouTube videos to even my experiences with clients, I love to grab every opportunity that comes my way.

I aim to provide creative solutions to my clients within the framework and principles of Islam.

Join me in this wonderful journey.
And perhaps we may turn out to be of benefit to each other in both worlds.
Aameen.
