Hi Region 4!

For those that did not get the chance to meet during the Regional Leadership Conference earlier in August, my name is Chizua Onua and I am this years Region 4 Regional Leadership Conference (RLC) Chairperson! As the RLC Chairperson, my duties in this role largely consist of planning and executing RLC, but also being the chair of the Leadership Shadow Initiative. The Leadership Shadow Initiative is a program Region 4 started in 2018 that trains members throughout the school year in the tasks and roles that take place on the regional executive board (REB). The ultimate goal of the LSI program is develop participants enough that they feel comfortable enough to apply to be a part of the REB by the time of annual convention in March.

To be a part of the LSI program, the only things you need is to be a paid NSBE member and have the hunger to learn and grow! After you fill out this survey, you will be matched with a member on the REB and receive a detailed agenda of what work/development will be associated with that position.
