Log Entry #1: Starving Guard (AUDIO TRANSCRIPT)
“I noticed I haven’t written in this thing since graduation. When you’re working full-time on the force, you hardly have any time left to yourself. Especially someone of my status.”
“I’m afraid I might have something interesting to talk about… for better or for worse.”
“Ever since I awoke my Persona, I’ve been more interested in the Metaverse and everything that goes on. Kaori’s been a great help when it comes to getting stronger. I’ve been training, and as I go and learn about things in the Palace, things begin to click more easily.”
“I decided to go ahead and use this thing for more important things regarding the Palace. For example, I’ve been sketching the Shadows we’ve encountered in there and have tried noting their weaknesses we’ve discovered… I’m no artist, so… bear with me here.”
“I call this one the Starving Guard. Kaori said it was a stupid name and that naming the Shadows isn’t a productive use of our time because "they serve as a measure of our strength” and that “we’re not adopting a stray dog from the side of the road.” Well, assigning names to things helps me remember things better so what does she know?“
"The Starving Guard is massive in height, but is deceptively weak. They don’t fare well against Wind attacks…. or… *any* attacks for that matter, *but!* it’s perfect given that Wind is my specialty. We have yet to find a resistance that makes it formidable, so it has fallen victim to my kusarigama and infantry rifle time and time again. I think they’ve officially set themselves as the bare minimum.”
“Hopefully we’ll encounter Shadows that will be a better test of my strength and tactical genius soon. I’d hate to be on the receiving end of something terrible. This is [???], signing off.”
Hello, everyone! Team Deity here to announce Day 7, and the last day of Deity Week! We had such a blast showing you guys what we’ve been working on!
But what does this mean now that Deity Week has ended? Well, we’re most definitely going to be on board 1000% and share as much progress as we can. No worries about a multiple month long hiatus, because we’ll be back and on schedule.
Anyways, to cap off Deity Week, we are proud to show off the storyboards of the first cutscene of the game with voice acting and SFX.
(Note: this is NOT the final version. It will be much better, we promise.)

Hello everyone! Welcome to Day 6 of Deity Week! We’re approaching the end, but this is a sign of the comeback we promise to make. We will be posting more about this game and our team, so stay tuned, because you’re gonna be seeing a lot more from us!
Putting the focus back on him, we have a couple of sprites of our Jester Protagonist made by our one and only, Wander! These are not all of the sprites, but just a few key we wanted to share with you guys!

Hey guys welcome to Day 5 of Deity Week!
Now that we’re on part of showing characters, I’d like to introduce two characters you’ll meet in the Prelude. They aren’t Persona Users, but rather Confidants instead.
On the left, we have Hachiro Yamazaki, the Confidant of the Magician Arcana! He’s a bit of a goof, often cracking jokes and hanging tight around the Jester, but he can be pretty hotheaded and quick to respond when the pressure’s on. Graduating alongside the Jester, he begins to work as a legal observer for a law firm, all the while his turbulent college life is slowly resurfacing with a vengeance…!
On the right is the mother of the Jester Protagonist, Yuuri, who is of the Empress Arcana. While it is not traditional for the parents of the protagonist to be playing an active role in their life, we’ve decided to make her an active character who serves as the Jester’s rock. Any troubles he’s facing, any moment where he feels alone or like all eyes are on him, his mother is always there to lend an ear.
These two characters were designed by our dear friend, Al, who will be stepping down from our project! Thank you for your contributions, Al! We love you and we’ll miss having you around all the time!

Showing off our Protagonist, it’s easy to know what’ll be expected of them in a Persona-type plot, but what about his party members?
Well, let’s dive into one of them right now!
(Sergeant) Kaori Furukawa is a 27-year old police-woman with not a lot to claim for her own. Everything personal about her is currently unknown by the Jester Protagonist. She is a personal friend of his family and has known them for a little over a decade.
Without spoiling much, she is already awakened before the events of the story, and is the root cause for our Protagonist’s awakening.
Take that with what you will :)
This character was made by @crazymecjc (Carissa), one of our character concept artists! We miss ya every day, dude, and we hope you’re doing well pursuing everything it is you wish to pursue!
