About me
In between bouts of walking, sailing and photography I have even been known to do some work. I’ve been “in IT” for nearly 15 years, initially as a Microsoft Certified Trainer teaching the Microsoft Certfied Courses in :
- SQL Server 7 and 2000 Systems Administration and Development
- Visual Basic 5 and 6
- Windows NT4 and Windows 2000 networking
Then in 1999, I joined NetIQ to do implementation and training for their AppManager product in Enterprise Accounts in the city of London. At the same time as I joined, NetIQ and Mission Critical Software merged and I started using Operations Manager, a product that has since moved to the Microsoft stable and is now available in it’s new incarnation as System Center Operations Manager 2007 R2.
I work for a Microsoft Gold Partner in the UK who work closely with Microsoft on the Systems Center suite as well as with other Microsoft partners such as Silect and Secure Vantage.
