Hi Friends !
If you are here because you want to deepen your creative life, this is the post to keep. I pulled together the parts of my process that actually move the needle, the things I reach for when I need clarity, direction, or a reset. Think of this as the inside layer of my studio life, the version that usually stays off camera.

What you’ll get from this post:

• Prompts and exercises to reset your creative direction
• A print-ready Studio Noto ritual guide you can use to build your own practice
• A look inside the rituals that anchor my creative life
• The five objects, scents, and sensory cues that shape my private practice
• How I build rhythm and coherence in my days, even when life feels chaotic
• A breakdown of my actual routines that have been most helpful

There’s the work everyone sees, and then there’s the real work.
The part that happens when no one’s asking, no one’s watching, no one’s paying you for it. The quiet version of your art that still shows up when the world goes offline.

I call that my Private Practice. It’s a rhythm of notes, scents, habits, and odd little rituals that keep my creative life from dissolving into the noise. It’s not about productivity or output. It’s about coherence. The kind of invisible structure that holds you together while everything else shapeshifts.

For me, it started out of survival. When NOTO was taking over every hour of my life, I needed something that belonged only to me. No brand strategy. No campaign. Just the small, deliberate acts that reminded me who I was outside of the work, and somehow made the work better.
