ALICE IN WONDERLAND

THE CRIMSON CONQUEST

OPEN BOOK COVERS

PRESENTED BY BB

And so it was that in way of teaching others scratch building techniques i too fell into another make believe world but of course not like Dear Alice, no not that. But one believing in myself that i could do this by using one picture to make three that when combined i could print and cut them out making them fit enough to fold over and stick to a glued up strip of paper card. It has become second nature in my life now to scratch build stuff each and every day as the sun journeys itself around our little white ivy clad cottage within Fiddle Wood. Old Catton Norwich, here in the United Kingdom.

When asked by others when they visit our home and see my arts and craft topsy turvy hobby, i humbly politely inform them that i am an Artist Author, presenting tutorials on the Internet.   A something that has changed tidiness into my very own classic case of chaos a theory of unpredictable behaviour.
Well no make believe artist ever created art without making mess.

Below the front cover picture stood ready for use it being the bright case of copying.

All three parts were obtained using the Cut & Paste method.

The thick black surround is a good guide for my scissors.

                                                                       The printing plate.

The open book covers fold over neatly upon the ends of each paper card strip, then cut off the sprue when the white glue has dried.

Work is still ongoing involving lots of painting to do on the shelving units and of course making the cut out books all props for the Great Library.

My. My! i near enough forgot my manners with the first realise of this topic,so may everyone of you looking here for the first time, have a safe and sound day whatever it has turned out to be.  BB
