SENTIRE MEDIA — ROLE OPPORTUNITY

The person who turns an audience into a community — and a community into a movement.

About Sentire

Sentire is a media company built around one of the most powerful ideas in modern storytelling: that Italy isn't just a destination — it's the beginning of a completely different life. We produce podcasts, editorial, video series, a book club, and transformational women's retreats, all centred on the women who are ready to make a real change.
We are backed by Smart Move Italy, the leading relocation company for foreigners moving to Italy, with over 500,000 social media followers, millions of YouTube fans, and a growing podcast network. Sentire is where the storytelling lives.

We are building something exciting. And we need the right person to help us shape what it becomes.

The Role

Email is the most direct, most personal, and most commercially powerful channel we have. Our audience has chosen to be here — they follow us, they listen to us, they watch us. Your job is to deepen that relationship through their inbox, in a voice that feels as considered and warm as everything else Sentire produces.

You will report directly to the founder and work closely with the Managing Editor and content team. You own the email calendar, the list, the strategy, and the results.

What You'll Own

  • Newsletter strategy and writing — building Sentire's email voice, cadence, and content calendar from the ground up
  • List growth — developing and executing strategies to grow the subscriber base through the website, podcast, social, and community channels
  • Automation and sequences — building welcome journeys, retreat interest funnels, book club onboarding, and re-engagement flows that feel human rather than mechanical
  • Retreat launch campaigns — owning the email marketing for each retreat from first announcement through to sold-out confirmation
  • Book club emails — monthly picks, affiliate link integration, and community engagement prompts that drive genuine participation
  • Affiliate revenue — strategic placement of affiliate links within editorial and community emails to build a measurable and growing revenue stream
  • Community email — regular communications for the paid membership that reward loyalty and deepen connection
  • Performance reporting — open rates, click rates, conversion, list health, and clear monthly reporting to the founder

Who You Are

We are looking for someone with the technical skills to build a serious email operation and the writing instinct to make every send feel personal.

  • 3–5 years of email marketing experience, ideally within a media brand, lifestyle company, membership business, or content-led organisation
  • You write well — not just competently, but with genuine warmth and clarity. Our audience will notice immediately if the inbox voice doesn't match the brand they fell in love with elsewhere
  • You are fluent in at least one major email platform — Klaviyo, ConvertKit, Mailchimp, ActiveCampaign, or similar — and can build automations without needing a developer beside you
  • You understand list growth and audience segmentation, and you know the difference between a list that is large and a list that is alive
  • You are analytically minded — you care about what the numbers are telling you and you use that intelligence to make better decisions, not just better-looking reports
  • You are self-directed, organised, and comfortable setting your own priorities within a fast-moving small team
  • A genuine connection to Italy, the expat world, or the women's lifestyle and travel space is a real advantage — you will understand this audience more instinctively if you are part of it or have been

What We Offer

  • Competitive contract commensurate with experience
  • Fully remote — work from wherever makes sense for your life
  • A founding role with real ownership — you build this function, you shape what it becomes
  • The genuine satisfaction of working with an audience that actually cares about what you send them
  • Access to the Sentire world — retreats, the book club community, and a network of women building lives in Italy
  • Real scope for growth as the brand scale

How to Apply

Applications close February 27, 2026

We read every application personally.

Skip the formal cover letter. Instead, tell us about an email campaign or sequence you built that you are genuinely proud of — what the goal was, what you did, and what the results were. If you have examples you can share, even better. We want to understand how you think, not how you write about yourself.

This role is for an experienced email marketer.

This is a remote position and this role does not provide for a visa to work in Italy.

We look forward to hearing from you.

Creative Director

Freelance · 3–6 months · Italy based

We are building a visual world from the ground up. We need someone who can take a brand that lives in the founder's head and make it real — across a website, a social platform, a book club, retreats in Italy, and a photographic library that has to be exactly right.

The Role

Sentire is a premium media brand for women in the middle of becoming something. The brand identity is partially defined. What we are missing is the founding creative director who completes it, executes it across every surface, and ensures that every image on the platform is exactly right.

This is not a strategy role. It is not a consulting role. It is the role that makes the brand real — the website, the social templates, the photography direction, the retreat materials, the content playbook. Three to six months of making things, not planning them.

What You'll Own

  • The Sentire brand system — logo refinement, typography in use, the complete visual identity document
  • Website creative direction — every page art directed and signed off before launch
  • Photography direction — shoot briefs, on-set presence in Italy , sign-off on every image that goes live
  • Social templates and content playbook — built and tested before launch day
  • Book club visual identity — the sub-brand system within Sentire
  • Retreat and event materials — the visual touchpoints and guest experiences
  • First 4 weeks of social content — written, designed, scheduled before launch

What we're looking for

We are not looking for someone who has worked in media. We are looking for someone who lives it.

  • 7+ years in creative direction or senior brand design for editorial, lifestyle, or women's media
  • A portfolio of executed brand systems — not decks about them
  • Hands-on experience directing photographers — shot lists, on set, selecting the library
  • Proficiency in Canva or Figma — you can build templates yourself
  • Genuine feel for the Sentire aesthetic: warm, literary, analogue, Italian
  • Open to individuals or creative leads who bring a trusted designer — tell us how you work

What We Offer

  • Competitive contract commensurate with experience
  • Fully remote — based in Italy
  • The chance to work on something that actually matters to the people who experience it
  • Possibility to lead to full time work

How to Apply

Send us one example of a brand system you built — the thing itself, not a deck about it — and tell us how you intend to handle graphic design production.

Writer: Regional Correspondent Sentire Media

Who We Are
Sentire Media is a modern storytelling and publishing studio built for people who love Italy and want to understand it more deeply. Based in Florence, we create thoughtful, engaging, and highly useful content across podcasts, video, articles, guides, and original stories that help our audience see Italy through a more honest and beautiful lens.

We are driven by curiosity, clarity, and a genuine love for the real Italy. The Italy beyond the postcards. The Italy lived in neighborhoods, small towns, conversations in cafés, and the quiet moments that shape a life. Our mission is to explore it, document it, and share it in a way that inspires, informs, and empowers anyone who feels drawn to this country.

Sentire Media brings together writers, creators, filmmakers, and dreamers who believe that stories can change how people see the world. And for many of our readers and viewers, these stories become the first step in imagining a new life here.

What We Need
This role is all about bringing real life in Italy to our audience through grounded, personal, and insightful regional stories. Our Regional Correspondents help us capture what is happening on the ground across Italy and turn it into digital content that is engaging, trustworthy, and genuinely useful.

Each month, you will create one written piece and a small set of supporting visuals that reflect the character, rhythm, and daily realities of your region. Your stories will help our readers understand what life actually feels like in different parts of Italy so they can make more informed decisions about where they might want to live, explore, or invest.

The heart of this role is clarity and connection. We are looking for people who can spot meaningful stories, avoid clichés, and share experiences that feel fresh, human, and honest. Your work will play an important part in helping our audience move from curiosity to confidence as they imagine a life in Italy.

Who You Are / What You'll Do
You do not need to be a professional writer. We welcome bloggers, expats, Italians, and curious observers who know their region well and can explain it in a warm, simple, and engaging voice.

Most of all, we are looking for correspondents who can uncover stories that feel alive. Not the typical tourist talking points. Not the same old myths. We want pieces that show movement, real people, small discoveries, surprising moments, and the everyday beauty that makes your region unique.

We especially appreciate people who
• Notice the details that others miss
• Have a natural feel for what makes a story interesting
• Can capture simple phone video or photos
• Are reliable with monthly commitments
• Want to grow with a brand that is expanding every year

Specifically, you will be responsible to:

• Write one article each month about life in your region
• Share a short phone video or a small set of photos
• Highlight what is actually happening on the ground
• Capture personal, interesting, fresh stories that help people understand your area
• Avoid overdone topics and clichés
• Follow our light style guide and monthly topics
• Meet predictable monthly deadlines
• Stay committed to ongoing work throughout the year

COMMITMENT AND FUTURE OPPORTUNITY

This role is for people who enjoy consistency and want to be part of something long term. We ask for a steady commitment and strong follow through. As our media division grows, we will look first to our correspondents for larger assignments, new regional projects, and expanded storytelling opportunities.

IMPORTANT NOTES
• This is a contributor role for Smart Move Italy
• All content is created for and owned by SMI
• Articles are published under our brand
• Correspondents may be credited but this is not a promotional role for personal channels

WHAT WE OFFER
• A monthly stipend
• Clear assignments and supportive editorial direction
• A dependable creative routine
• A chance to be part of a national storytelling network

HOW TO APPLY
If this sounds like a role you would enjoy and you feel you can commit to creating thoughtful monthly content, we would love to hear from you.

Please send us
• A brief introduction about you and the region where you live
• One writing sample that shows your natural voice
• A simple phone video clip or a few photos you have taken
• A short note on why you want to contribute and why you can commit long term

Once we review your materials, we will reach out to qualified candidates for next steps.
We can't wait to meet you!!

Executive Producer Podcast / Sentire Media

Remote / in Person Full Time English Mother Language

Are you someone who can walk into a room full of half-formed ideas and turn them into shows people can’t stop listening to? Do you instinctively know how to shape a story, spot great talent, build a format, and guide a show from raw concept to polished, addictive episodes? If that’s you, we want to talk.

Sentire Media is the new entertainment arm of Smart Move Italy, and we are building a podcast network dedicated to bringing Italian stories to the world. Real stories. Fictional stories. Cultural stories. Stories that make people lean in and want more. We’re an innovative startup with a very clear direction. We’re not guessing. We’re building a slate of shows with intention, pace, and a strong creative foundation, and we are looking for an Executive Producer who can lead that effort from day one.

This role is all about ownership. You’ll be the person who drives the full production process across multiple shows. You’ll take ideas, refine them, test them, shape them, and turn them into final episodes that meet a professional standard. You’ll find talent, guide hosts, structure formats, manage recordings, and keep everything moving on schedule. We want someone who has already proven they know how to make a podcast work, grow, and stand out.

This is your chance to help build something from the ground up. A network. A brand. A catalog of Italian-inspired shows with reach and staying power. And your fingerprints will be on every piece of it.

What you’ll do

  • Lead and manage the full production process across several shows
  • Build production schedules, keep every project moving forward, and on budget
  • Source, book, and manage talent and guests
  • Oversee recording sessions and ensure everything runs smoothly
  • Work closely with the Creative Director to shape story, tone, pacing, and show style
  • Deliver shows that feel polished, intentional, and true to our Italian-inspired brand
  • Ensure consistency, quality, and steady release schedules
  • Help shape new show ideas and bring them to life
  • Collaborate with our editor, shooter, marketing, and sales

Who you are

  • An experienced producer who has taken podcasts from idea to published success
  • Comfortable wearing many hats and leading a small, nimble team
  • Confident in both the creative and logistical sides of production
  • Organized, dependable, problem-solving oriented
  • A natural storyteller with a strong sense of pacing and narrative
  • Someone who loves culture, character, and story

To apply for the Executive Producer role, please send:
  • Your CV or LinkedIn profile
We want to see your experience, your track record, and the shows you’ve helped build.
  • A short introduction
Tell us who you are, the kind of producer you are, and why you’re excited about Sentire Media. Keep it personal, clear, and direct.
  • Links to at least three podcasts you’ve produced
Include the episodes you’re most proud of and briefly tell us your role in creating them. We want to understand your taste, your standard, and your creative instincts.
  • A brief description of one show you helped shape from idea to release
We want to understand how you think, how you build, and how you drive a show from concept to finished product.
  • A short paragraph about how you would approach building a new podcast slate for a startup media company
This doesn’t need to be long. Just give us a sense of your strategy, your priorities, and how you’d bring structure to a fast-moving creative environment.
  • Anything else you feel represents your work
This could be a portfolio, a website, a reel, or other audio projects.

Important notes
We appreciate every application, but due to volume, we will only contact candidates we wish to move forward with. Please do not apply if you do not have past podcast production experience.
Incomplete applications will not be considered.

This role does not require you to live in Italy. You may work remotely from another country. This role is not eligible for visa sponsorship. Applicants must already be able to work legally in Italy.

Fluent English is required for this position. Italian is a valuable bonus but not mandatory.
Compensation will be based on experience.
