Why This Ruin Still Stands: The Story of Anhalter Bahnhof
Autumn Colours in Your Thoughts
Late nights in the Bergmannkiez can be loud and busy with visitors. Not all of them are from abroad, it’s a popular area to go out for a drink, a meal - mostly Asian food. The old German restaurants have long gone and replaced by some niche desire for food from afar. No Fish and Chips, no French food, no Polish sausages or dutch cheese, only the blanket of Asian food. Even the burgers are spicy.
Still Life with Cactus Fruit & Copper Jug
Still life photography is a wonderful way of expressing the dynamic and flexible possibilities of a digital camera. Still life has always been a fascinating form of art. Street Photography Secrets Discovered Along the Way
Observation along the street wakes up the mind. Street photography is not just about pointing a camera at interesting objects, it’s about capturing the moment. In order to do that, we need to have a mind set that is full of intention and desire.
Street photography is full of moments where we see a doorway to the secret of our world. A world of reflections.
Practise makes perfect — especially in photography. I think many new photographers go straight into street photography because it allows them to immediately practise on many different levels. It’s challenging, and it’s fun.

Herbert's Beautiful, Broken Berlin World
He sits at home drinking tea, he is in a state of stasis. Tea, his kitchen window, the night, and the howling wind make him feel comfortable in his small Berlin home.
His mobile phone tinkles and vibrates. His brain recoils, but he answers the phone. A friend, gasping words, tells him, “Herbert, I need you to meet me. I’ve got problems.”
Herbert doesn’t like helping others. He tried it once and discovered that it’s a troublesome experience that he’d rather avoid. He pushes the little off button on his phone.
