This plugin allows users to clone posts of any type, or copy them to new drafts for further editing.

Cum funcționează:

  1. În ‘Editează articole/Editează pagini’, poți da clic pe legătura ‘Clonare’, care se află sub titlul articolului/paginii: se va crea imediat o copie și se revine apoi la listă.

  2. In ‘Edit Posts’/’Edit Pages’, you can select one or more items, then choose ‘Clone’ in the ‘Bulk Actions’ dropdown to copy them all at once.

  3. În ‘Editează articole/Editează pagini’, poți da clic pe legătura ‘Ciornă nouă’, care se află sub titlul articolului/paginii.

  4. Pe ecranul de editare a articolului poți da clic pe „Copiază într-o ciornă nouă”, mai sus de „Anulează”/„Mută la gunoi” sau în bara de administrare.

  5. While viewing a post as a logged in user, you can click on ‘Copy to a new draft’ in the admin bar.

2, 3 și 5 vor conduce la pagina de editare pentru ciorna nouă: schimbă ceea ce dorești, dă clic pe „Publică” și ai terminat.

Există și un tag pentru șablon, astfel încât să-l poți pune în șabloane și să-ți clonezi articolele/paginile din față. Dând clic pe legătură, vei fi condus la pagina de editare a unei ciorne noi, la fel ca legătura din bara de administrare.

Instalare

Folosește funcționalitatea WordPress Adaugă modul, caută „Duplicate Post” (Duplicare articol) sau descarcă arhiva și:

  1. Dezarhivează arhiva pe computerul tău
  2. Încarcă directorul duplicate-post în directorul /wp-content/plugins/
  3. Activează modulul în meniul „Module” din WordPress
  4. Mergi la Setări -> Duplicare articol și personalizează după cum dorești

Întrebări frecvente

Modulul nu funcționează, de ce?

În primul rând, verifică-ți versiunea WordPress: modulul nu lucrează cu versiunile vechi. De asemenea, asigură-te că ai actualizat ultima versiune a modulului!

Apoi, încearcă să-l dezactivezi și să-l activezi din nou, unii utilizatori au raportat că acest lucru rezolvă unele probleme.

Pay also attention to the „Permissions” tab in the Settings: make sure the plugin is enabled for the desired roles and post types.

Dacă încă nu funcționează, poate că există vreun conflict cu alte module: nu ezita să scrii în forum și vom încerca să găsim o soluție (va fi un ajutor real dacă încerci să dezactivezi toate celelalte module, unul câte unul, pentru a vedea care este în conflict cu al meu… Dar fă acest lucru numai dacă știi exact cum trebuie să faci, nu voi fi responsabil de nicio problemă care este posibil să apară).

The plugin is not translated in my language!

From version 3.0 the plugin’s translations are managed by the WordPress.org platform and the plugin is shipped without language files, so first of all update translations under Dashboard->Updates.

If Duplicate Post is still in English, or if there are some untranslated strings, you can help translating to your language: you only need a WordPress.org account.

Yoast Duplicate Post does the job of duplicating posts, but I’ve faced some issues with it not copying all settings properly. It’s useful, but it could use some tweaks for smoother performance.

Very handy plugin for duplicating posts n pages fast. Saves time when working on similar content. Simple n easy to use. Wish it had a few more options, but still works great 👍

Honestly, I don’t know if that’s true – but what I do know is true is that when our SEO Content team or a client needs to duplicate a post then I always add this plugin. It always bothered me that WordPress doesn’t have this feature natively to copy posts. Another plugin we have used is [Duplicate Post] but I’ve always prefered this one for the brand association with this one. We moved from the actual Yoast SEO plugin years ago, but the Yoast brand still remains iconic and the more I’ve read of their articles and posts the more respect I have for them as a company. So thank you Yoast and thank you Enrico Battocchi.
