This book is a cluster of ideas and inspirations for playing a (forbidden) corporate focussed game or campaign of Cy_Borg by Stockholm Kartel. Here you will find corporate character classes, character generation alternatives, a modified mission generator, and other odds and sods.
The Blodrak Corporation knows that reality is a simulation and has injected operatives into the simulation. They’re trying to find a way to save the world (the world is where they keep all their money, after all) by running a repeat simulation at many times normal speed. The trouble is that the simulated populace, government, corporations and cyberpunk keep fucking it up.
You’re there to try new things, troubleshoot and guide the simulation to an eventual positive outcome.
And no, you only get paid per hour that takes place in reality.

This is a RAPID PROTOTYPE made using AI input and art, albeit with human oversight and touch-up. If it proves popular enough, it will be expanded, and more human art and creativity will go into a larger edition.

Rules systems cannot be copyrighted, only their arrangement, order or phrasing. As such, to preserve the future of a ‘common tongue’ of roleplaying games, I have spent the time since the OGL announcement modifying and producing (with help) a genericised version of the ‘Rosetta Stone’ of roleplaying games. It is not complete by any means and is not meant to be a playable game in and of itself, but it lays out concepts and common gaming heritage so as to allow people to continue to write and create without hindrance – hopefully.

We are relicensing all material under the Creative Commons. Details can be found in the PDF above.
Basically, if you check the old Section 15 in any and all OGL products produced by Postmortem Studios, anything we provided as open content is now available under the CC license.
We cannot release other companies’ or individuals’ material (such as OpenD6 etc.) in the same way, but it is our understanding that Section 13 of the original OGL allows sublicenses to continue even after the termination of the original OGL license. Nonetheless, we hope other designers and companies will follow suit and shift to CC licensing.
The only way in which Wizards of the Coast/Hasbro could regain the confidence of the TTRPG community at this point, would be to revise the 1.0a Open Gaming License to include the word ‘Irrevocable’, and even in the best case scenario, we do not anticipate this happening.

A new month, a new blog project.
I’m thinking ahead to my next crowdfunded project, though I don’t know when I will get around to it. There’s no harm in thinking on the issues involved though.
5e has taken a step back towards the ‘old school’ style of play and improvisation, coupled with a few story elements from the indie scene. What is, perhaps, missing a bit is the grittier, nastier side of dungeoneering.
The setting I will be creating is a harsh, horrific setting – a closed off city that has been left to the undead, into which criminals, heretics and the foolhardy are cast – never to return.
For this I need a deadlier, nastier take on the standard rules and need to expand them to take other things into account. I want a low/no magic setting, slightly more technologically advanced setting.
This is going to take a considerable amount of changes, innovations and new approaches.
