What’s the purpose of Forgotten Hope 2?
The aim of FH2 is to transform BF2 into a historically accurate and realistic scenario of WWII. In this sequel, it offers over 30 maps, 50 weapons, 75 vehicles, and other kinds of artillery. The mod is installed through the FH2Launcher which will allow you to receive notifications on future updates. The earliest versions of the FH2 mode are the Ardennes Offensive Release and the Russian Front.
Upon installation, you will have all the maps, vehicles, and weapons available to you. They can be found under the ‘info’ section on the left side of your screen. More guns will be added to the mod; an upcoming sign will appear after an artillery’s name. You will not be able to add your own additions to the mod as its not an open-source program. The developers are not open to beta testers as well.
What the developers do encourage its users is to engage in the Help or Support forum section. This helpdesk will address any concerns you have regarding installation and usage. Sticky threads are a good place to start as other users may have experienced the same problem. You can then post your queries when you’re unable to find an answer on the page.
