This page and game were created as I was trying to find a direction in telling the story on my collaboration with Nike Virtual Studios and .SWOOSH. It's far from anything spectacular, but was key for helping me take the simplicity of old phone games and tell the story about staying creative!

Gameplay

Collect as many notification dots as you can so you can get back to creating rad stuff!

If you need a break, you can press "p" to pause the game, just note that pausing the game will decuct 10 points from your score.

Options

Please select a name for your snake!

Please select the level of difficulty for your game. The harder the difficult the more points you earn per food pellet.

Story

As an educator and consumer, I have seen the two-sided role technology plays in the daily experiences of my students and myself. As I encourage creativity with my students, I have found that a prevalent tool - our phones - is both a virtue and a vice. When used well, it is a lift to creativity. But in the same breath, this tool can be the very destruction of that same creativity. As we look ahead to our interactions in the digital world, it is good to look back. My mood board pulls from the inspiration from the only thing that was ever really worth doing on my first phone - playing some snake.
