PCMA Business Events Summit 2026
June 21-24, 2026
Fajardo, Puerto Rico
El Conquistador Resort
Business Events Summit 2026 is heading to Puerto Rico—where advanced learning and meaningful connection come together in one immersive setting.
The PCMA Business Events Summit is an advanced, members-only education experience—an immersive, skills‑based summit for business events professionals ready to sharpen their expertise, solve real‑world challenges, and elevate their impact. Formerly edUcon, the Summit has been reimagined as a pinnacle learning environment with longer sessions, hands‑on application, and peer‑driven problem solving.
Learn deeply. Apply immediately. Lead confidently.
Three Learning Pillars Shaping Every Session
The Summit curriculum is built around three pillars that guide every proposal, session, and experience, each designed for hands‑on, real‑world application.

Refine Your Leadership Influence
Leading in today’s business events environment means operating in ambiguity, guiding teams through change, and influencing diverse stakeholders. This pillar develops leadership capabilities that help you communicate with confidence, build and sustain high‑performing teams, and navigate complex decisions with clarity.
Example topics: executive presence and strategic communication, leading through uncertainty, building and managing high‑performing teams, stakeholder management and influence, decision‑making frameworks, personal brand and career advancement strategies.

Design Experiences that Connect
Today’s events must deliver more than logistics. They must create meaningful moments that drive outcomes, foster connection, and reflect organizational purpose. This pillar focuses on designing and delivering experiences that engage stakeholders, elevate brand presence, and produce measurable impact.
Example topics: experiential design that drives behavior change, inclusive and accessible experiences, technology for deeper engagement, measuring event ROI and participant impact, innovative formats and flows, participant journey design, sustainable event practices.

Align Strategy with Impact
Events are expected to prove strategic value and organizational impact. This pillar equips leaders with the frameworks, tools, and approaches needed to align events with business goals, drive innovation, and demonstrate meaningful results.
Example topics: aligning event strategy with organizational objectives, building the business case for investment, data‑driven decision‑making and performance metrics, innovation and emerging trends, cross‑functional collaboration, sustainability, sourcing and budgeting, strategic partnerships, audience acquisition and engagement strategies.
Why We Reimagined edUcon
From edUcon to Business Events Summit
As part of PCMA’s brand refresh, edUcon has evolved into the Business Events Summit to more clearly reflect what today’s leaders need from education: depth, rigor, and real‑world application. The Summit moves beyond traditional conference formats with 75–90 minute sessions, hands‑on learning environments, and intentional white space for thinking and problem‑solving with peers.

Who Can Attend?
A Members‑Only Summit
Business Events Summit 2026 is exclusively open to PCMA members. This focus allows us to create an intimate environment—approximately 800 participants—where conversations can go deeper, examples can be more candid, and relationships can continue long after the Summit ends. The room is designed for professionals who view education as a career and organizational accelerator.
