Where everything has soul and spirit. Where deep breaths are not in lack. Where peace and calm meet their opposites, and the balance that emerges in between becomes peace. On the inside, on the outside. From darkness she ascends. So whole and full of light, as the Sun.Electronic, ambient, experimental, nordic. Dunkel yet holy melancholy. Inspired by&nbsp;Björk, Radiohead and Sigur Rós, as well as AURORA, Julianna Barwick, Kalandra, Eivør, Mari Boine, Gåte and Enya.ᛊKjære solstråler og villkjæringar der ute,I have created a Patreon page for Sólstrauman, my solo project and creative outlet for all the songs I write, as well as other writings, poetry, photography and art.Doing this as independently as possible motivates me, and brings the calm surroundings that nourishes my art and songwriting to the fullest. At the same time as Sólstrauman is just me, it is so much more than just Sunniva.Everyone I meet on my way plays a part. Everything I write comes from dimensions beyond my comprehension. I own nothing, in a way. Still, making these songs, writings and projects of art, connected to Sólstrauman, becomes a flowing river that derives from my inner Sun. It is all kissed by the Sun.&nbsp;Humbly I ask for contributions for my art, as creating art and sharing content with the outside world has its costs. Nothing goes to the artist's daily expenses or living. It all goes directly to the projects and creative process. For now this includes especially the making and release of singles, music videos and live performances with focus on my recently released debut album Kvitevind.I am just starting to realize how much work is behind every tune released out there, not to mention full albums and all the other elements of art that goes with it.&nbsp; There is the songwriting, playing, recording, producing, mixing, mastering, distribution and different kinds of promotion of a song, as well as live costs, and so, so much more. Perhaps especially as an interdisciplinary artist.There is the idea, planning and executive part of making the auditive and visual content connected to each song, like music videos, design and artwork on the cover, photos and videos for social media and film for the backdrop live, plus posters, stickers and merch or such. In the end it is a lot more work than one might think.This is especially true if one has to spend a lot of time applying for economic support every step of the way. That is why I believe Patreon can be a wonderful alternative in this sharing my heart's medicine to the world. It seems like a way to avoid spending all one's time writing applications for economic support decided by a jury somewhere.And to be honest, I am not meant to be digital. Everytime I'm sitting by a screen I feel restless, and I guess I could call it anxiety. That's why I do analog wednesdays. I just need a break. Because I'm not coded for this.
