Milton Hide

We are Milton Hide (AKA Jim and Josie Tipler) and we come from East Sussex, living at the foot of the famous Long Man of Wilmington hill figure.We have released two full studio albums, ‘Temperature’s Rising’ and ' The Holloway' and our third Album, 'Bungaroosh' is due for release Spring 2025. and hope you will join us on our musical journey going forward.We weave songs and stories together with guitar and vocals. Arrangements also include percussion, with the clarinet providing a third voice. Our music has been described as “reminiscent of the Moody Blues” (Living Tradition), “a touch of Fleetwood Mac” and “vintage Steeleye” (Spiral Earth).Why are we on Patreon?We are no longer using facebook and Instagram but still want to be able to connect with our audience, and Patreon is a great way to do this. Festival appearances include Rochester Sweeps, Bridport Folk Festival and Fishguard Folk Festival.We are really excited about Patreon - in the past the big composers and artists have been supported by rich patrons.
