DJ E.T (Etienne Kubwabo)

Hey lovely people, My name is Etienne Kubwabo is a filmmaker and comic book creator with a passion for showcasing his stories and culture through his art. He founded Etianverse Comics (formally KƎ Comics) and released his debut comic ‘Beats of War’, which has now sold over 50,000 copies worldwide. The story follows Scotland’s first-ever black superhero who crash lands in Glasgow. He has discussed its inception on BBC’s The Social, BBC Radio Scotland and STV News. In film, he has written, directed, and produced award-winning documentaries and shot over 120 music videos and commercials. His debut feature film, ‘The Difference Between Us’ was released worldwide in 2023 and is now available on streaming platforms STV Player (UK) and Mansa (US). Etienne continues to work hard to grow Mile Away Films and Etianverse Comics and is determined to put Scottish creatives on the map.
