OISS serves MSU international students, scholars, employees, and their families by providing regulatory and immigration expertise along with engagement and educational activities.

If it is after 5:00pm and you have an urgent, non-life threatening, OISS situation that cannot wait until the next business day, call 517-353-1720 and remain on the line to be connected to an OISS staff member on call.

Please keep in mind that the OISS main phone line is monitored by student staff. They can provide resources and general information but cannot answer immigration-related questions.
